Elvie is a fine jewelry line designed and created by Christine Bartolillo, in New York City. The name “Elvie” honors her great grandmother, a talented garment maker by trade, whose diamond wedding band and name plate bracelet first sparked this love affair with jewelry. Coming from a long line of natural creators, Christine followed in her grandmother’s footsteps when becoming a hair stylist, and now parallels her grandfather's journey, who forged and welded metal as a sculptor.

Christine draws inspiration from the exceptional shapes and settings of vintage pieces, and has a particular affinity for antique diamonds and vibrantly colored gemstones. She seeks to blend delicate, feminine elements with bold, masculine details, creating pieces that feel substantial yet elegant.

Christine is a GIA alumn, with certifications in both diamonds and colored stones. She designs all of her pieces in her studio, either by hand-carving wax models or rendering in CAD. With formal training in metalsmithing and stone setting, Christine is hands-on during the many stages of the production of her pieces. She also collaborates with a select group of master stone setters and other industry artists, all on 47th street in NYC’s famed diamond district, to ensure every detail is expertly crafted.
